Products Description

This product line is our "LCL-friendly" line, specifically designed for small and medium-sized customers, new market trial orders, and urgent replenishment needs. In international trade, while full container load (FCL) shipping offers lower unit prices, the minimum order quantity of 20-30 cubic meters deters many small buyers. We make small-batch purchasing feasible and economical by optimizing production planning, establishing flexible inventory, and simplifying packaging. Whether you only need 2 cubic meters or 10 cubic meters, we can help you ship to your destination port at a reasonable cost.

The Core Value
We solve three major pain points for small-batch procurement:
Lowering the Barrier to Entry
Lowering the Barrier to Entry: Minimum order quantity is as low as 2-3 cubic meters, equivalent to approximately 200-300 standard square timbers. This means:
New customers can place small trial orders to confirm quality and delivery time before confidently purchasing in larger quantities.
End users can purchase directly, without the markup from intermediaries.
For urgent projects requiring small-scale replenishment, there's no need to wait or over-purchase to fill a full container.
Risk Control
For new markets, new customers, or new products, small trial orders effectively control financial risk. Even in the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as poor market response or customs clearance issues), losses are manageable.
Flexible Turnover
For small overseas building material stores and hardware stores, there's no need for large inventory buildup; replenishment can be flexibly adjusted based on sales, accelerating capital turnover.
Suitable Specifications and Products
Not all products are suitable for LCL shipping. We have selected the most suitable specifications:

Main LCL Specifications
38×89mm (2x4): The lightest and most versatile specification, with moderate value per unit volume, making it ideal for LCL shipping.
45×95mm: A commonly used metric specification, the first choice for LCL shipping.
50×100mm: An internationally common specification, in high demand, allowing for fast LCL turnover.
50×150mm: A slightly larger specification, but still within the acceptable range for LCL shipping.

Length Restrictions
The optimal length for LCL shipping is 2.4 meters and 3.0 meters. Materials exceeding 3.6 meters will increase transportation difficulty and costs. For extra-long specifications, we recommend purchasing a full container load (FCL).

Product Types
Structural timber (joists, joists)
Small-sized panels (thickness ≤ 25mm)
Short timber (1.2 meters, 1.8 meters, etc.)

Packaging and Protection for LCL (Less than Container Load) Products
LCL shipments require more robust packaging due to the multiple loading, unloading, and transshipment processes:
Reinforced Single-Bundle Packaging
Each bundle should be 0.5-0.8 cubic meters in volume and weigh no more than 1 ton, facilitating both manual and mechanical loading and unloading. Reinforced with thickened moisture-proof film (0.1mm) and at least 5 steel straps.
Individual Pallets (Optional)
For very loose orders, pallets can be added to secure the materials, facilitating forklift operations and protecting the bottom. Pallet fees are additional.
Waterproof Lining
An extra layer of desiccant or moisture-proof beads is added inside each bundle (please specify in advance) for further protection.
Clear Labeling
At least two waterproof labels are affixed to each bundle, visible from all four sides, facilitating quick identification and sorting in the LCL warehouse.
LCL (Less than Container Load) Process and Precautions
We make the LCL process transparent:
1
Inform us of your required specifications, quantity, and port of destination. We will calculate the total volume and provide a CIF or CFR quote including ocean freight (CIF is generally recommended for LCL shipments for easier scheduling).
2
After stock preparation, we will deliver the goods to our partner LCL warehouse (usually located near the port). The warehouse will consolidate other customers' goods and pack them into a single container.
3
LCL shipments require waiting for the container to be full before shipment, therefore the shipping schedule is less flexible than FCL (Full Container Load) shipments. There are usually fixed weekly LCL shipping schedules; we will inform you of the nearest shipping date and reserve space.
4
LCL shipments are issued with a sub-bill of lading (House B/L), issued by us or our freight forwarder. Customs clearance documents are the same as for FCL shipments.
5
LCL shipments incur unpacking fees, terminal handling fees, etc., at the destination port. These charges are usually borne by the consignee. We will inform you of the estimated amount in advance to avoid unexpected expenses upon receipt of the goods.
6
From order placement to pickup at the destination port, LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments typically take 7-14 days longer than FCL (Full Container Load) shipments due to the added time for warehouse consolidation and unpacking at the destination port. Please plan your project schedule in advance.
Target Customers and Procurement Recommendations
Small and medium-sized building material traders
New to the LVL (Less than Container Load) business, unsure of market demand. Start with a small trial order to gauge market response before deciding on large-scale purchases.
Engineering companies needing to replenish materials sporadically
During projects, materials may be insufficient or damaged, requiring replacement. LCL can quickly resolve urgent needs, avoiding work stoppages due to material shortages.
Hardware stores/building material retailers
Don't need large inventories, but prefer to keep basic specifications on stock to meet the needs of smaller local customers.
Initial trial orders
Regardless of your size, for your first collaboration, we recommend placing a small order of one or two cubic meters via LCL to confirm our product quality, packaging standards, and service response speed.
