Clear Customization Scope and Boundaries
To avoid misunderstandings, we first clarify what can and cannot be customized:
Flexible Customization:
Length: This is the most common customization item. You can specify almost any length (usually no more than 13 meters/43 feet, limited by equipment and shipping), and we will optimize the cutting.
Section Height: We can adjust the total height of the beam within a certain range (e.g., from 280mm to 320mm), which is usually achieved by adjusting the web height.
Complex or Costly Customization
Non-standard Section Shapes: Such as non-standard I-beam flange widths, unconventional irregular sections. This requires redesigning molds and processes, has high minimum order quantities, and is expensive.
Special Strength Grades: If strength indicators far exceed conventional levels, adjustments to raw materials and layups are required; these are special orders.
Recommendation: Prioritize finding alternatives in our standard beam specification library. Customization means additional setup, commissioning time, and potential material waste, therefore the price and delivery time will be higher than standard products.
Customization Process and Technical Requirements
We have a simple and efficient customization process:
Requirements Communication
You provide detailed dimensional drawings (including length, cross-sectional width and height, whether pre-drilled holes/grooves are needed, etc.), estimated usage, and intended use (to determine load requirements).
Feasibility Assessment and Quotation
Our engineers will assess the feasibility of the production process within 2-3 business days and provide a quotation and estimated delivery time. Custom orders typically do not have stock, and the production cycle will add 2-3 weeks.
Confirmation and Production
After order confirmation and deposit payment, we will schedule production separately for your order and take photos of key processes for you to track progress.

Specialized bundling and protection plans are designed based on the shape and length of the customized item to prevent deformation during transportation.

Extra-long (>12 meters) or extra-heavy components may incur special logistics and hoisting costs. These must be informed in advance and may be borne by the customer.

Custom orders typically have a minimum cubic meterage or total amount requirement to cover additional production costs. The specific MOQ is determined based on the complexity of the customization.
